The first domestic automotive stainless steel joint laboratory was established by Baosteel Stainless  Steel, Pan AsiaTechnical Automotive Center Co.,Ltd, and Shanghai Tenneco exhaust system Co.,Ltd.

After the completion of the laboratory, the three party will carry out the development and application of automotive stainless steel products and technical research and key technical research, in the new technology, new materials and other aspects of the application to strengthen cooperation.

In recent years, Baosteel Stainless Steel combined with user’s needs, and actively developed a series of cost-effective stainless products, to provide users with resource saving, functional upgrade and eco-friendly stainless steel. Baosteel has developed a series of automotive exhaust system steel, and now has been implemented in large quantities of domestic applications with Japanese, European and American cars.
